WELCOME:
If you are visiting today, you are our honored guest. Please fill out a Welcome Card and place it in the collection plate as it is passed following communion.
COMMUNION:
Please feel free to retrieve a concealed communion cup from the trays at either entrance. We will pass open communion to everyone during our special communion time.
OUR LAKESIDE FAMILY IS GROWING:
We are so excited that Anna Wilson has shared her desire to make Lakeside her new church home. She has been visiting since Easter and has family in the area. Her grandson, Leland Mallett, is the head of the journalism department at Legacy High School whom many of our students have had the privilege of knowing. We can't wait to serve and work alongside Ms. Anna. Make sure to meet her. She resides at Watercrest and her address is 250 E. Debbie Ln, # 2311, Mansfield.
WEDNESDAY'S THIS SUMMER:
THIS Wednesday, June 29th, Lakeside will "Come Alive" as we hear the story of "Jesus Raises Jairus's Daughter," and how BELIEF BRINGS LIFE. We are having so much fun getting to pray and play as families this summer. Is Bible Drama and skits your talent? Crafts and science? Refreshment and snack planning/prepping/serving? There's a Bible Class in the right portable for all adults who wish to attend, following the ALL-CHURCH drama and Bible story time. There's a place for everyone! Be here at 7pm every week!
LITTLE HEARTS SCHOOL: PUBLIC REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR THE FALL
The mission of Little Hearts School is to equip our students spiritually, socially, and academically. We serve families with children ages 18 months to 5 yrs of age. SUNDAY COMMUNION PREPARATION: SIGN UP AT BACK TABLE
Lakeside has once again started passing open communion and we are looking for 3-4 people to volunteer/rotate on a monthly basis to PREPARE COMMUNION (fill cups/ place bread in trays), for Sunday mornings. This can be done on Sunday morning before/during class. Pre-Covid we had families that would prepare communion on Friday or Saturday, and that could be an option too! Please see Pam or Todd if this is the ministry for YOU! Can you help serve for the month of July?
NEW SCHEDULE FOR SUMMER CHILDREN'S WORSHIP: JUNE-AUGUST
This summer Lakeside will be giving our volunteers the flexibility for family time and vacations by instilling EVERY THIRD SUNDAY as All-Family Worship time. There will be no Children's Worship on those Sundays June-August, including July 4th weekend. The Youth Group/Interns will volunteer the 2nd Sunday of the month, June-August during our Children's Worship time. We love our little ones, and we always partner with our families to provide the best opportunity for learning and growing in their love for Jesus. Remember we have wonderful teachers that will be here and ready for your children EVERY Sunday for Bible class at 9:30am. Thank you for loving and growing with us at Lakeside.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: CHILDREN'S WORSHIP THIS SUMMER 1ST & 4TH SUNDAYS
Do you enjoy singing Bible songs with your kids? Telling Bible stories to the littles? We could use your servant heart in Children’s Worship. Our special time set aside for ages 2-5 that takes place during the sermon is a fun place to spend 30-35 minutes telling the children a story from the Bible, singing The Lord’s Army, singing the books of the Bible and giving the parents an opportunity to take in the message, uninterrupted. Teenage youth this is a great place to practice your teaching skills and have fun! Mom and daughter/son, wife and husband, this is where it all starts! All materials prepared and ready for YOU! Please see Pam to be a part of this wonderful ministry.
