Our Mission

The mission of the Lakeside church is to be God's people today.

Our desire is to please God by serving, knowing, praising and bringing others to him.

Purpose Statement

Our purpose is to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and be His people today.  We want to become disciples of Jesus.  We want to bring our community to know him through the power and vitality of the gospel.  We are trying to represent Jesus in our world.

Ministry Philosophy

Our philosophy to ministry is to accentuate building relationships with each other and God.  We emphasis reaching out to people.  We are concerned with meeting needs.  We have a focus on equipping people to be the hands and feet of Christ.  We use the team approach to life and ministry.  We try to maintain a sacrificial spirit.

Our Vision

  • The dream is to be a church that lives to be God's people today.  A place where you can ask questions, find friends, and experience a relationship with God.  A family where people belong.  A place of encouragement that helps everyone use their talents.
  • The vision is for us to have a growing atmosphere.  A place where daily evangelism happens and people are finding Jesus for the first time or returning to Him after a season apart., We strive to be people that look and live like Jesus.
  • Our hope is to bring our community to become like Jesus through caring ministry and biblical teaching.  A place where committed followers of God are involved in each other's lives.  A spiritually maturing church.
  • Our prayer is that people will know we are God's by our love for one another and the way we treat our neighbors.
  • Our dream continues as God brings others into our village and continues to mold us and mature us into His kingdom.
